They're a breathable, protective microfibre cover to keep lenses clean and prevent accidental scratches, and are designed so you can use a them even when you've still got your helmet or beanie on. Use them at lunch, at the bar, in the car, on the bus, or anywhere else you take your goggles. 

Besides the protection aspect, Gogglesocs are especially useful when drying goggles out after an intense day of shredding, because they still allow condensation to escape through the back, which helps prevent fogging.
